In 2009 the Foundation organized and conducted an International Conference titled “The Thracian Gold: Myth and Reality”, in connection with the exhibition “The Saved treasures of Thrace from the Vassil Bojkov Collection”, presented to the cultural and scientific public in Moscow.\r\n\r\nMany Bulgarian and Russian archaeologists, historians and art experts took part in the conference. The presented papers treated the Thracian culture, spirituality and arts, as well asthose of the ancient people that inhabited today’s Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia. Prof. Iv. Marazov presented a paper in the exhibition hall and as its curator showed it to the participants at the conference.\r\n\r\nSome Russian scientists presented the newest discoveries from Central Asia. During the conference were discussed the issues connected with the Thracian culture, the North Black Sea region and their connection with other Indo-European people.\r\n\r\nThe theme about the semantics and the symbolic of the letterless Thracian culture was discussed.\r\n\r\nFor the first time at a scientific forum was presented the marble bust of the Emperor TraianusDecius from Vassil Bojkov Collection.
